What this screen actually draws — one deck, three places
Three cards come from the 22 Major Arcana, and they are always 3 different cards: the deck is shuffled once and the top 3 are turned over, so no card can sit twice in one reading. Each of them lands reversed 30 percent of the time, independently of the others. A reversed card is not a no here. This reading takes it to mean a feeling that is there but held quietly inside for now.

The shuffle is seeded with three things you already gave: the name you typed, that person's birthday if you entered one, and today's date. The same three give the same three cards all day, so reloading will not deal you a kinder answer. Add or clear their birthday and it is a different shuffle. Tomorrow it deals again.
The name is a label on that shuffle and nothing more. Nothing is looked up about the person behind it — no profile, no account, no record anywhere. A nickname works exactly as well, because the name only ever reaches the seed.
Nobody's gender is asked for and none is assumed; the wording avoids it on purpose in every language this screen speaks. Your own birthday is read from this browser only, and theirs is optional.
What decides the closing line
The reading ends on one of two lines, and one thing alone chooses between them: how many of the 3 cards landed upright. 2 or more and the open line is used; fewer and the cautious one is. The name, the birthdays and the card meanings do not move this.

One further note, grounded in Four Pillars rather than tarot, is added only when both birthdays are known — yours, saved in this browser, and theirs, typed into the field above. If either is missing the note is left out rather than guessed at.
The prose is sometimes written out by a language model instead of assembled from the fixed card meanings. That changes the wording only. What the model is handed is the same 3 cards, drawn the same way from the same seed.
There is no percentage on the feelings themselves, and there will not be one: this screen looks nothing up about the other person, so a score printed here would be a number about cards wearing someone's name. The two figures above say the opposite kind of thing — how often each closing line comes up. That is why the open one should be read as the ordinary weather of this screen and not as news about anyone.
How this heart reading is calculated
A 3-card tarot reading about someone you're thinking of — their feelings now, their hidden thoughts, and the flow ahead — plus, if you give their birthday too, one Saju compatibility sentence.
The three cards are drawn with the same seeded, deterministic engine used across the site, from a seed built off your input and today's date. If a birthday is given, we separately compute both people's day-master elements and the same symbolic harmony tier /compatibility uses, then write one sentence from it.
We never attach a checkable score to another person's feelings — that's D-003, our hard boundary. Card meanings are fixed, not guessed from anything about the other person, and every language here is written to stay gender-neutral about someone whose gender you haven't told us.
