Bokki is built to be light and trustworthy. Here’s the honest version.
We use it only to calculate your Saju sign, in your browser. We don’t require an account, and your birthday is kept on your own device (local storage) so you don’t have to type it again — it is not sent to us or stored on a server.
Your recent readings are saved on your device so you can look back at them. You can clear them anytime by clearing your browser data.
Bokki is free, supported by gentle, clearly-labelled ads. When ads are enabled we use Google AdSense, which (and its partners) may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads. We never show full-screen ads before your reading, and we avoid predatory categories (gambling, crypto, sketchy wellness). In regions that require it (EU/UK), you’ll be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can choose non-personalized ads.
We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which features people enjoy. This never identifies you personally.
Everything you create lives on your device — clear your browser data to erase it anytime. You can opt out of personalized ads via your Google Ad Settings, and manage cookies in your browser. Bokki is meant for ages 13+. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
