Bokki's reading

About this reading

Your Four Pillars chart's day-master strength against the day, week, month, or year you pick — not a generic horoscope.

We build your real chart (year/month/day/hour pillars), find your favorable element (용신) from your day-master strength, and compare it to the pillar of whichever time span you're viewing. The same birth data and date always produce the same reading.

We never attach a percentage or guarantee to any outcome — this describes a leaning, not a prediction. No medical, legal, or financial advice.

About this reading

Is this reading random, or based on my chart?

It's based on your Four Pillars chart — your day-master strength against the day's energy, run through the same function every time. The same birth data and date always produce the same reading.

Does the reading predict a specific outcome?

No. It compares your chart's balance to the day's element and describes a leaning, not a guaranteed event — we never attach a probability or percentage to any outcome.

How this reading picks what it says

This page does not read your birth year on its own. It builds the four pillars from your whole birth date, and then each topic reads a different seat in that chart — which is why changing the topic changes more than the wording.

What each topic reads in your chart, and how many readings that seat can give
TopicWhat it reads in your chartReadings that seat can give
OverallThe Ten God that runs thickest across the whole chart5
LoveThe Ten God of the day branch — the seat tradition reads as the partner's5
MoneyHow strong the wealth element runs, crossed with how solid the day master is9
CareerThe Ten God commanding the month you were born into5
HealthWhichever of the five elements weighs heaviest in the chart5

Two of those seats often land on the same thing. The Ten God that runs thickest across a chart is also the one commanding the month for 214 of the 250 birth dates we measured (5 dates a year, 1960 through 2009), so Overall and Career can echo each other. They are still read from different places — when the two part, the readings part with them.

Only the Today span adds a line from that day's own pillar. This week, this month and this year do not get one — a single day's pillar says nothing about a month, and attaching it anyway would be inventing. Of the 4 spans, 2 open straight away and 2 ask you to tap once first.

The heading is not your zodiac animal. It names your day master and the month branch it sits in — 10 day stems across 12 month branches, so 120 different headings before a single word of the body is chosen.

The one small step at the end is not general advice. It comes from the element your chart most wants, crossed with the topic you picked — 25 of them in all. The half-sentence after it says why, and that turns on whether the day master is tender, solid or even (3 ways). A chart that runs hot or cold adds one more half-sentence about which way to lean.

What it never reads: your gender. Birth time is optional — give it and the hour pillar joins the other three; leave it out and the reading is built from three pillars and says nothing about the fourth.
