Your week

The next 7 days, scored against your chart.

What decides each day of this week

This screen reads two things and no more: the date you were born, and the time of day if you gave one. From those it builds your Four Pillars chart, picks the elements the chart leans on (용신, the favourable ones) and the single element it should go easy on, and then walks the next 7 days one at a time. Every calendar day carries its own day-pillar element, and the only question asked of that day is where its element stands against those two lists.

The 3 rows are asked in this order and the first one that matches wins. That matters, because an element can land on both lists at once: the seasonal adjustment (조후) may add an element that the strength reading had marked as the one to go easy on, and in a balanced chart the element to go easy on is your own day master, which can itself be among the two the chart most lacks. When that happens the top row wins and the day is read as a supported one.

The score comes from the row and from nothing else. Days on the same row always carry the same score, and therefore always the same word — no random jitter is mixed in, so reloading this page or opening it on another device gives you the same week, letter for letter. The sentence on each day is chosen from the 3 written for that row, and the choice is made from your birth date together with that day's date, so it does not drift either.

Where a day's element comes from

The day pillar advances exactly one step per calendar day, the way it has been counted for centuries — it is a real position in the sexagenary count, not a rotation invented for this screen. The heavenly stems are 10 characters and the 5 elements take 2 stems each, so any one element comes back around every 10 days, 2 days out of every 10, with no element favoured over another.

Where a day's element comes from
ElementIts day stemsDays out of every 10
Wood甲·乙2
Fire丙·丁2
Earth戊·己2
Metal庚·辛2
Water壬·癸2

A week is 7 of those 10 days, so a single element can appear as few as 0 times inside it and as many as 2. That is why one week holds more supported days than the next: nothing is being topped up or held back, the calendar is simply passing through.

This screen does not read your sex, your name or where you live. Your birth time is used when you give one and left alone when you don't — adding it brings in the hour pillar, which can change which elements the chart leans on, and with them the whole week. A week read without a birth time is not a worse answer; it is the answer to a slightly smaller question.

What a row says is how that day's energy sits against yours, not what will happen in it. No day here is a promise or a warning about an event, and nothing on this screen is medical, legal or financial advice.

How your 7-day forecast is calculated

Each of the next 7 days, scored against your own Four Pillars chart — not a generic horoscope.

For every day we compute that day's real day-pillar (day stem + branch) and compare its element to your chart's favorable element (용신). A day that supports your favorable element reads 'good'; one that clashes reads 'care'.

We don't attach a percentage or guarantee to any day — only how that day's energy sits against yours. No medical, legal, or financial advice.

How your 7-day forecast is calculated

Why does the same day look different for two people?

Because that day's element is compared against your favorable element (용신), which comes from your own chart's balance. Two people with different charts read the same calendar day differently — that's the point.

Do I need my exact birth time for the week view?

It helps sharpen the reading, but the week calendar already runs on your day pillar, which only needs your birth date.

Does the app compute a numeric score, even if it doesn't show one?

Yes, internally — each day earns 82 points if its element is favorable, 70 if neutral, 60 if unfavorable, but the screen only ever shows the mood word (supportive, steady, or careful) plus one of three rotating sentences for that mood, picked deterministically from your birth date and the day itself. The number never reaches the page.
