Health luck — your body's rhythm

Your five energies read like a season — gentle self-care, not a diagnosis.

Which line you get, and what decides it

This screen reads two things and no more: the day you were born, and the time of day if you told us one. From those it builds your pillars and spreads them across the 5 elements, then asks a single question — which element carries the most weight in your chart, and which carries the least.

Which line you get, and what decides it
Line on the cardWhen it appearsWhich element it speaks of
The even lineThe heaviest and the lightest element carry the same weightAll 5 at once
The abundant lineThey carry different weightsThe heaviest element
The light lineThey carry different weights, and it comes with the abundant lineThe lightest element
The care noteAlways, under whichever line came above itNone of them — it speaks about you

The 4 rows are asked from the top down and the first that fits wins, so evenness is asked before abundance: a chart whose heaviest and lightest elements weigh the same never receives an abundant line, and never a light one either. Every other chart receives two lines, one for each end. Nothing is drawn at random — the same chart gives the same lines today, tomorrow and on another device.

This screen does not read your sex, your name or where you live. A birth time is used when you give one and simply left out when you don't, and nothing is guessed in its place. Adding a time brings in the hour pillar, which can move which element sits heaviest, so the same birthday can lean differently once the hour is known. A reading without a birth time is not a worse answer; it is the answer to a slightly smaller question.

Nothing here is scored and nothing is ranked. The percentage under each bar is how your chart divides itself, not a mark out of a hundred, and no element is better to have more of than another. An abundant element is not a problem and a light one is not a lack — they are two ends of the same distribution, and every chart has both unless it has neither.

The bars are not counting the eight characters

A chart stands on 4 pillars — year, month, day and hour — and each pillar has a stem above and a branch below. The stem puts one full share on its own element. The branch puts one share too, but splits it among the elements it hides, so the whole chart weighs 8. When you don't give a birth time the hour pillar does not stand at all, and the chart weighs 6 across 3 pillars instead.

A branch is not one element. Each of the 12 branches hides up to 3 stems inside it: 3 branches hide a single stem and carry their share whole, 2 branches hide two stems, and the remaining 7 branches hide three. That is why these bars can point somewhere else than a plain count of the eight characters — a chart with no Water character above can still hold a good deal of Water below.

Which stems a branch hides is the traditional table, checked branch by branch against an independent almanac. The shares are a simplified root-first ratio: the order of the classical month-share division is kept, but these are not its day counts and are not offered as such.

This is the same weighted distribution the five-element bars draw in your main reading, from the same table. Two screens will not hand you two different abundant elements.

None of this is medicine. It reads the balance of a chart the way you would read a season, and everything it asks for is ordinary care: rest, water, gentle movement, company, quiet. If you feel unwell or something worries you, please see a doctor or another professional. Bokki only sits beside you and says: rest a little.

How your energy balance is calculated — and what it isn't

Your raw Five-Element composition — which element runs most abundant and which runs scarcest in your chart — read as a season of energy, not a diagnosis.

We weight each pillar's stem plus its branch's hidden stems (지장간) into five element totals — the same weighting the home chart's element bars use, but without the month×3 or three-harmony bonus that the strength calculation (used elsewhere) applies. The highest and lowest totals become your 'over' and 'under' element.

This is not a diagnosis — no organ claims, no disease prediction, and we make no claim about your years ahead. It's gentle lifestyle self-care read like a season. If you're unwell or worried, please see a doctor or professional.

How your energy balance is calculated

Can this tell me if I have a health problem?

No — it's not a diagnosis. It only reads your chart's raw Five-Element composition as a season of energy, with gentle self-care suggestions, never organ claims or disease predictions.

How is this different from the strength calculation used elsewhere on Bokki?

This uses your raw element composition without the month×3 weighting or three-harmony bonus that the strength/favorable-element calculation applies — a more literal snapshot, not a judgment of what you need.
