What decides the first line — day-master strength and the month command
Nothing on this screen is drawn at random. The opening sentence is chosen by one reading: whether your day master (日干, the heavenly stem of the day you were born) stands strong, stands weak, or sits balanced. Those 3 readings are all there are, and the whole chart is weighed to settle on one. The sentence after it comes from your month command (月令) — the Ten-God group of your month branch, which is the ground your work stands on. Because it is set by the month you were born in, it does not move when the birth time is missing.

Each of the five splits in two, and what splits it is polarity (陰陽). When the other stem carries the same polarity as your day master you get the first name in the row — 比肩·食神·偏財·七殺·偏印 — and when it carries the opposite polarity you get the second — 劫財·傷官·正財·正官·正印. That is how five relations become the Ten Gods.
Three sentences are always there: the strength reading, the month command, and how much officer energy (官星) your chart carries against the vessel that has to hold it. Everything after those is switched on only when a force in your chart actually runs abundant or runs dry — support energy standing beside an abundant officer group, wealth backing the officer, abundant expression, abundant peers, a dried-out support group. So two people can read a different number of sentences, and the shorter reading is not the poorer one. The travel star (驛馬) and the depth star (華蓋) are added only when they truly sit in the chart; with no birth time there is no hour pillar, so a star that would have stood there is left unclaimed rather than guessed.
Where the line about this year comes from
The year line starts from a single character too: the heavenly stem of this year's annual luck pillar, read from your day master. That gives one of the 10 names in the table above, and each one has its own sentence. A second clause is then added by two things together — whether this year's element is one your chart needs, and whether your day master is strong, weak, or balanced — so the same year does not read the same way for two people.

Then this year's earthly branch is held against the branches already in your chart, and at most one clause is added — never more, so the paragraph cannot grow into a list. The relations are read in the order of the table above, and the seats in this order: the day branch, which is your own seat; the hour branch, where results land; the month branch, which is your workplace; the year branch, which is your roots. That is 4 seats, and the first match found is the one that speaks. With no birth time there is no hour pillar, so that seat simply drops out instead of being guessed.
What this screen does not do: it gives no score, no percentage and no lucky-or-unlucky verdict. It never asks your sex and never uses one. It reads this year's pillar only — the ten-year luck pillar (大運) plays no part in these two paragraphs. And the same birth date and time always produce the same sentences, because nothing here is drawn by chance.

We read which Ten-God group governs your month branch (self-made, craft, field-work, organization, or scholarship), how strong the officer group is relative to your day-master strength, and a few conditional traditional patterns (credentials-from-pressure, wealth-supporting-position, solo specialization) — each appended only when your chart meets that pattern's rule.
We never attach a score or percentage, and we never promise a specific job or promotion — this reads as a season's grain, not a verdict on your career.
